Why is microbiota so important?

It's impressive how much impact gut flora - or microbiota - has on our health. Who are we?

Prokarimi has roots in Oslo, Norway, and started its journey in November 2023. After an official opening in March 2024, we have been dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of microbiota. We want to provide insight and detailed information about the condition of your microbiota, in addition to suggesting concrete measures you can take to improve gut health.

How Prokarimi works

With Prokarimi, the process is both simple and intuitive:

• You receive a sample collection kit at home.
• Using this kit, you take a stool sample.
• You send the sample to our laboratory for analysis. Postal label is pre-paid.

There, our expert team conducts a thorough examination of your sample. You will then receive a detailed results report online, where you not only get a summary, but also an overview of each type of bacteria that is analyzed. In addition, there are suggestions for measures to improve gut health, supported by an AI assistant tailored to help you interpret your results.

If desired, you can also take advantage of an additional service where a nutritionist reviews your results - delivered by Kostholdsendring AS.
