Information Collection


  • When you create an account: When you create an account, you can choose to be completely anonymous. You can also choose to register an email and/or phone number. By doing so, you also agree to receive notifications about orders, when results are available, and other important information. You can stop notifications by removing your email and/or phone number from your user profile. The information is stored until the user account is deleted.

  • When purchasing a Microbiota Collection Kit: When you order a Microbiota Collection Kit, we collect personal information that is necessary to process your order. The information we collect includes your name, address, and email address. This data is stored until the order is concluded (purchase refunded, result released, or after 6 months)

  • Website usage information: We automatically collect certain information when a customer visits our website. This may include IP address, browser type, operating system, the pages visited, and the times of the visits.


Use of Information


We use the personal information collected to fulfill orders, provide customer support, communicate important information about our services, and enhance your user experience. This includes:

  • Order Fulfillment: Utilizing your name, address, and contact details to process and deliver your order.

You can opt-in or out of receiving these communications at any time through your user profile settings or by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in the communications.

  • Website Usage Data: Collection of this data helps us improve our website's user experience, identify popular services, and ensure website security.


Data Security


  • Protecting your information is a top priority. We implement robust security measures to safeguard your personal and health data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Our security measures include, but are not limited to, secure server hosting, encryption, and access controls.

  • Handling of Test Results: Upon completion of the microbiota testing, results are securely uploaded to Prokarimi’s system. To ensure your privacy and security, each result is encrypted using your assigned public key, rendering the information accessible only by you. Following the encryption, the files are deleted from any temporary storage to eliminate any risk of unauthorized access. This process ensures that at no point can anyone other than you read or interpret your personal health data.


Data Retention


  • We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. Post-service, we retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

  • Personal information collected is only used to ship the Microbiota Collection Kit and is deleted when order is concluded. Order is concluded if it's returned or sample test result is uploaded and seen or after 30 days.

  • Disabling or Deleting User Accounts:

    Users have the right to request the disabling or deletion of their user accounts. If a user chooses to delete their account, please note that there is no way to recover the user data after 30 days from the deletion date. Additionally, backups of user data are retained for a period of 30 days. By requesting the deletion of their account, users acknowledge and accept that their data will be irreversibly removed from our system after the specified duration.

Ownership of test results


  • The consumer's rights: Consumers retain ownership to its biological samples and raw data (GA) derived from these samples. However, the analysis and interpretive report provided by Prokarimi is considered part of the test results, as confidential information belonging to Prokarimi.

  • Use of test results: Although consumers have right to access and use their individual test results for personal, non-commercial purposes purposes, intellectual property rights belong to the analysis and methodology used to interpret these results, Prokarimi.

  • Sharing of results: Consumers are allowed to to share their test results with healthcare professionals or other advisers for personal health purposes. However, commercial use of these results is included reproduction, sale or distribution is strictly prohibited unless explicitly stated authorized by Prokarimi.


Content on Prokarimi's website


  • Ownership of website content: All content available on the Prokarimi website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, audio clips, digital downloads and software are the property of Prokarimi or its content providers and protected by international copyright and intellectual property laws rights laws.

  • Use of website content: The content on Prokarimis website is provided for informational purposes only. It cannot be copied, reproduced, republished, downloaded, posted, broadcast, transmitted, made available to the public, or used for any commercial purpose without express written consent from Prokarimi.

  • Trademarks: The trademarks, service marks, and the logos used and displayed on Prokarimi's website are registered and unregistered trademarks belonging to Prokarimi. Nothing on the website should be construed as granting any license or right to use any trademark without prior written permission from Procarimi.

4. Limitation of liability


  • The accuracy of test results: Prokarimi endeavors on providing high quality microbiota testing services. However, we do not guarantee that the test results will be completely error-free or delivered without interruption or delay. Factors beyond our control, including but not limited to to the quality of the sample provided by the consumer, may affect accuracy and the reliability of the results. (If the sample is unusable, Prokarimi send a new Microbiota Collection Kit to the customer free of charge)

  • No medical advice: The test results offered by Prokarimi is for informational purposes only and should not be considered as medical advice. We strongly recommend that consumers consult with healthcare professionals for interpretation and guidance based on their individual health needs and conditions.


Limitation of liability


  • General limitation: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Prokarimi shall not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses (although Prokarimi has been advised of the possibility for such damages) resulting from the use or inability to use the Service or any other matter related to the Service.

  • Specific limitation: Under no circumstances should Prokarimis total liability to you for all damages, losses and causal relationships exceed the amount paid by you for the Microbiota Collection Kit.

  • Consumer responsibility: The consumer is responsible for ensuring that the sample is collected, stored, and returned according to the instructions given. Prokarimi is not responsible for any loss, damage or inaccuracy in test results due to improper handling or provision of samples by the consumer.

Please be advised that Prokarimi reserves the right to amend or modify this Privacy Policy at any time and in any manner. In the event of any changes, we will take appropriate steps to inform our customers, either through direct communication or by posting the revised policy on our website.
