1. Cancellation, Refund, and Return Policy


At Prokarimi, we are committed to ensuring a transparent, fair, and professional relationship with all customers. This policy outlines the terms and procedures related to cancellations, returns, and refunds for all our offerings, including microbiota test kits, probiotic supplements, and our subscription service. It is designed in accordance with the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act and applies to all purchases made through https://systest.prokarimi.no.


Right of Withdrawal (Angrerett)


In compliance with applicable consumer rights legislation, the customer has the right to withdraw from any purchase within 14 days of receiving the order. This right applies to single-product purchases, including microbiota tests and supplements, as well as to the first shipment within a subscription package.

To withdraw from a purchase, the customer is encouraged—though not required—to notify Prokarimi in advance by email at support@prokarimi.no. While such notice is optional, it is appreciated and may help expedite the return and refund process.


Return Eligibility & Conditions


All returned items are subject to inspection before any refund is issued. Prokarimi reserves the right to refuse or reduce a refund if the returned goods are incomplete, opened, used, or otherwise deemed ineligible under the terms outlined below.


  • Microbiota Test Kits: Microbiota test kits, whether purchased individually or included in a subscription, are eligible for return and refund only if the kit remains unused, the contents are complete, and the packaging is undamaged. Each test kit includes a prepaid return label, which the customer is encouraged to use when initiating a return. If any items inside the kit have been opened, used, or are missing, Prokarimi reserves the right to reject the return or issue a partial refund at its discretion.

  • Probiotic Supplements (ProMagen 30): Probiotic supplements sold under the ProMagen 30 label may be returned only if all bottles are sealed, unopened, and in their original condition. Returns that include opened, damaged, or tampered bottles will not be accepted under any circumstance due to health and hygiene regulations. The customer is responsible for covering all shipping costs associated with the return of supplement orders. Refunds will only be considered after the returned items have passed inspection.

  • Subscription Deliveries: Items delivered as part of a subscription package—including the microbiota test kit and the initial shipment of three supplement boxes—may be returned only within the 14-day withdrawal period. To qualify for a full refund, the entire package must be returned in its original, unused, and unopened condition. If all returned items pass inspection, the subscription will be cancelled in full, and the customer will not be invoiced for the three-month minimum subscription period. However, if any component has been opened, used, or is missing, the return will be rejected, and the customer will remain responsible for fulfilling the minimum commitment outlined in the subscription agreement.


Subscription Cancellation Policy


The Prokarimi subscription requires a minimum commitment period of three months. The customer may cancel the subscription at any time through their Stripe account, which is accessible via the "Settings" page on the Prokarimi website.

If the customer cancels the subscription after the 14-day withdrawal period but before completing three full months, they will be invoiced for the remainder of the initial commitment period. The maximum charge in such cases is 998 NOK. Once the initial three-month term has been completed, the customer is free to cancel the subscription at any time without incurring further charges.


Failed Payments & Automatic Cancellation


In the event that a scheduled subscription payment fails, Prokarimi will automatically attempt to process the payment up to four times over a period of four weeks. The customer will receive an email notification after each failed attempt. If payment continues to fail after all retry attempts, the subscription will be cancelled. If this cancellation occurs before the end of the required three-month commitment, the customer will be invoiced for the outstanding balance due within that period.


Damaged Goods


If the customer receives a product that is damaged during shipment or arrives in a defective condition, Prokarimi will offer a replacement at no additional cost. To request a replacement, the customer must notify Prokarimi as soon as possible after receiving the item by sending an email to support@prokarimi.no, including a description and clear photographs of the damage.

Once the claim is reviewed and approved, Prokarimi will arrange for a new item to be shipped to the customer. Damaged goods must be returned to Prokarimi unless otherwise agreed. In such cases, return shipping costs will be covered by Prokarimi.

This policy applies to microbiota test kits, probiotic supplements, and subscription items. Please note that this applies only to damage incurred prior to or during delivery and not to damage caused after receipt due to improper storage or handling by the customer.


Refunds and Processing


Refunds are processed only after the returned products have been received and passed inspection. This step ensures that all conditions for return have been met. Once the return is approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method used, through Stripe. Depending on the customer's bank or payment provider, the refund may take several business days to appear.


2. Changes to the Return Policy


Policy Updates and Revisions


Prokarimi reserves the right to update, amend, or otherwise modify this Return Policy at any time. Revisions may be made to reflect changes in our product offerings, legal requirements, business practices, or to improve clarity based on customer feedback.

The Return Policy is subject to regular internal review to ensure it remains aligned with the evolving nature of our services. Any modifications will be carefully considered and implemented to enhance transparency and customer experience.


Notification of Changes


In the event of material changes to the Return Policy, Prokarimi will provide reasonable notice to customers. Notifications may be issued through one or more of the following channels: email communication, updates published on our official website, or alerts presented via the customer's user account on our service platform.

All changes to the Return Policy shall become effective as of the date specified in the official notification or, if not stated, from the date of publication on our website. The effective date of the revised policy will be clearly indicated to ensure full visibility for all users.
